The Run In Part 3

.....

Me: my ex...he's here. he needed to talk and I umm

::Q walks away before I can even finish explaining::

I close the door behind me walking (not running towards him...trying to get his attention

We're in the middle of my apartment parking lot (mind you it's like 2 in the morning).

Q: What the hell is wrong with you?!? You let this n***a over your house in the middle of the night. Really?? I thought you were better than that.

Me: First of all, lower your voice, and please don't use that tone talking to me. I didn't invite him over..he just showed up

Q: Wow, so he feels like he can just show up to your apartment in the middle of the night? Are you still messing with this dude?!?

::silence::

Me: No..it's really not like that. He's just been in my life for a very very long time. We're still friends. He needed a friend..what was I supposed to do..leave him outside??

Q: YES!! Hell or go outside and talk to him. WTH that dude was really in your bedroom in the middle of the night and you want me to believe that nothing is going on?? What if you came over my house and found my ex there in the middle of the night?

Me: I wouldn't be surprised.

Q: What!?

Me: You're clearly not over your ex, I saw it by the way you were looking at her today, by the way you dropped my hand. You're not over her.

Q: You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. First of all..I was in shock. I haven't seen her in over a year. Will I always care about and have love for her? Of course. That doesn't mean that I'm still "in" love with her and I want to be with her all that ish. We broke up for a number of reasons...we hurt each other. Trust me when I say I don't want to go backwards...I'm trying to move forward...with you...but it seems like you're still living in the past.

Me: Q my ex being here is not what you think...I can see it in your eyes you don't believe me.

Q: You're right.. I don't. Look I gotta go, it's late. Guess we'll talk later.

::Getting in his car::

Me: You Guess?

Q: Yea..I guess.

He drove away...again.

I went back in my apartment pissed. Asked my ex to please leave. He wanted to stay. I said NO..three times. He finally left...

and I realized at that moment....that I was finally over him.

Ummm... OK. If you are not his girl, he really shouldn't be throwing tantrums, because frankly, you can do whatever you damn well please in the middle of the night. If he liked it, then, "he shoulda put a ring on it." <--- Thanks B.

Over who? The Ex or the maniac Q? Its crazy the ex picked that night of all nights to show up randomly like damn!
Its unfair for the Ex to come over and pour out his troubles on you, regardless if you guys are in that transitional "friends" category. It pulls at your heartstrings and you can't help but to feel something. As for Q, although it does look shady on your part that the Ex was just there, his level of double standards are outrageous. Yes he may have been shocked to see her driving off with no explanation or call for hours is unfair to you. How do we know he didn't storm back to the movies and ran into each theater screaming Karima's name and proclaiming his love for her? LOL ok I'm into soap operas hard. But his behavior leaves me to think that he may still have strong feelings for her.
