Confession: I'm dating ALOT and frankly I'm exhausted. I don't know how guys do this, handling numerous women at one time(well men in my case), it's just tiring. When I get off from work I really don't want to do anything at all but dive into my comforter, watch the Hills, eat a good meal, and fall asleep to Sex and The City. But uh, these dudes aren't having that. Every night someone wants to get up, go here, go there, text me about absolutely nothing, and require way more attention than I have time for. On top of that I have to deal with Life, and friends, and parents, and so on and so on. Who has time for all that?
However, I wholeheartedly agree with Solange, I think 99% of women have their main meat, the boo whose been there forever, whose some what of a best friend in an ironic way, who your comfortable with, but who you want to strangle most of the time. He's not your boyfriend per say, but hey he's the closest thing to it.
Then there are the guys, who you talk to on the phone occasionally, sometimes go out with, who you flirt with, and who you love receiving attention from. They balance all the flaws of the main meat and give you a little something extra to look forward to.
Hey a woman needs the sides just as much as the man does...right?
Well in my case anyway.

I agree with you and Solonge. But sometimes the meat, potatoes, dessert, appetitzer and maybe a dab of whats on someone elses plate (j/k) can well, not add pounds but stress, in the long run. But it does have its momentary advantages.
I've given a year dedicated to just dating and having fun with the freedom of not being responsible for someone else's emotions. When you are in a relationship can be the factor that makes or ruins your partners day and sometimes you're not in the mood for it.
I will say this eventually you start wishing that the meat, potatoes, and dessert was all on one plate = one guy and thats when you realize that all this fun was just fun and when you want to really settle down you have to start all over again.

Question, though (note: this statement is made with the assumption that all chicks, no matter what front/image/whathaveyou they put forth, are looking to eventually be wifed up by some dude).
If one dude's attention is not adequate, shouldn't that tell you he's not the guy you need to be talking to? B/c if its not enough now, it'll never be enough...so basically you are just knowingly wastin' your time with all these dudes (unless you are gettin it IN. in which case, see first paragraph). So invariably, like the person above just said, you are gonna start all over. And **gasp** that means you technically may be making yourself more likely to end up in that notorious 45% of black women (cue horror theme music).
iono, just my thoughts...oh yea, and solange is a smeezy far as i'm concerned.
